The Muay Thai gyms with street addresses are off the Strip, and only some publish a rate.

Andrada Muay Thai is at 2000 S. Rainbow Boulevard, Suite 108. The site says Jason Andrada has worked with the Shevchenko sisters’ fight team since 2017. Residents get a first class free with an ID. A day pass covers the classes that day; advanced classes need a coach’s approval.

Xtreme Couture MMA, 4055 W. Sunset Road, says it opened in 2007 under Randy Couture and is now led by Ryan Couture. It calls itself Nevada’s only official Bang Muay Thai affiliate, about two miles from the Strip. Kickboxing requires a ranked Bang Muay Thai shirt or a white shirt. Fight-team sessions are invite-only.

Njokuani Muay Thai is inside Rebel One LV, 4275 W. Bell Drive, No. 6. The site describes Anthony Njokuani as a ONE Championship fighter, a UFC veteran, and a two-time Muay Thai champion. Weekday classes last 60 minutes. The 1:30 p.m. class is 90 minutes and limited to amateurs and pros. Privates are 30 or 60 minutes, with no price on the page.

Nak Muay Thai-Lao, 3600 S. Highland Drive, is led by Ajarn Airr Phanthip, who the site says began in Laos in the early 1970s and has taught in the United States since 1980. A fight camp is listed for February 19–21, 2027, at Unit 10. One Kick’s Gym, taking students since 1993, teaches Muay Thai at 3490 E. Sunset Road.

When to go

National Weather Service normals for 1991–2020 put Las Vegas at an annual average high of 80.5°F and a low of 59.6°F. July’s normal high is 104.5°F and the low is 82.0°F. June is 99.4°F and August is 102.8°F. January is 58.5°F and 40.5°F. Annual precipitation is 4.18 inches, and June, the driest month, averages 0.04 inches.

October is the mild training month on that table, with a high of 81.2°F and a low of 59.6°F. March and April highs are 71.1°F and 78.5°F. Keep midday roadwork indoors in June, July, and August.

ESPN’s 2026 UFC schedule puts Fight Nights and Dana White’s Contender Series at Meta APEX, and numbered cards at T-Mobile Arena. Still ahead of September 28 are October 10, October 31, and November 7 at Meta APEX, plus UFC 335 at T-Mobile Arena on December 12. One Kick’s lists its own Muay Thai Championships on November 14 at the gym: doors 6 p.m., $45 general admission, $65 ringside. Bouts can change.

What it costs

The figures below are printed offers, not a citywide average. Njokuani and Xtreme Couture do not post prices on the pages reviewed here.

Andrada’s day pass is $35. Seven consecutive days are $150. Unlimited classes are $195 a month on autopay, plus a one-time, non-refundable $100 registration fee. Six months prepaid is $990 and a year is $1,980. A Hero rate of $165 is listed for first responders, veterans, teachers, and full-time UNLV or CSN students. One Kick’s homepage image describes a limited-time 28-day trial for $79. Andrada’s private rate is by phone only.

In July 2026 the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, surveying more than 75 percent of rooms, reported an average daily rate of $157.45 citywide, $167.40 on the Strip, and $87.41 Downtown. Engine’s cheapest public rates from May 2024 through April 2026 average $151 a night, from $132 in June to $180 in October, the same months as the worst heat.

Where fighters stay

No source says where visiting fighters stay. The gyms sit on South Rainbow, West Sunset, West Bell, South Highland, and East Sunset. Only Xtreme Couture states a distance to the Strip, about two miles.

RentCafe’s September 1, 2026 snapshot lists average apartment rents of $1,829 in Enterprise, including $1,588 for a one-bedroom, $1,684 in Spring Valley, $1,475 in Las Vegas, $1,339 in Paradise, and $2,385 in Summerlin South. Thirty Downtown hotel nights at July’s $87.41 rate are about $2,622 before taxes and fees, more than the Enterprise or city apartment averages.

How to choose a gym

• Ask who may spar. Andrada wants a coach’s OK for advanced classes. Xtreme Couture’s teams are invite-only. Njokuani’s afternoon fighters’ class is for amateurs and pros.
• West Sunset and East Sunset are different trips. Book the bed after you pick the gym.
• Do not assume a private rate. Neither Andrada nor Njokuani prints one. Bring the shirt Xtreme Couture requires for kickboxing.

FAQ

How much is a day or a month?

Andrada is $35 a day, $150 for seven days, and $195 a month plus a $100 fee. One Kick’s limited-time trial is $79 for 28 days. No other gym named here prints a drop-in.

Is a private priced?

No. Andrada says to call. Njokuani lists 30- and 60-minute sessions and no dollar figure.

When can I run outside?

October’s normal high is 81.2°F. March and April are in the 70s. June through August run from 99.4°F to 104.5°F.

Where are the fights, and should I stay on the Strip?

ESPN lists Meta APEX on October 10, October 31, and November 7, 2026, T-Mobile Arena on December 12, and One Kick’s own show is November 14. Downtown’s July rate was $87.41, against $167.40 on the Strip, and a month downtown still costs more than the apartment averages above.
