Best Muay Thai gyms in Krabi

Editorial ranking of Krabi gyms that appear in the Muay Thai Atlas Thailand gym file. The order is a judgement grounded in the sources under each gym. It is not a calculated score or a star rating.

This city is ranked to eight gyms. The Atlas file contains 20 Krabi gyms. The other twelve had a price, a single nickname, or a page that did not load, which was not enough to place them against a gym whose coaches are named with fight figures. Yaya Muay Thai Boxing in Railay is in the file, and its website returned an HTTP 500 on 28 September 2026, so it is not ranked from that page.

Methodology

Only gyms in the Atlas Thailand file were eligible. Weights used for the judgement:

1. Stadium and promotion pedigree (30%). Fight totals and notable wins stated on a gym page. Those figures are the gym's, not a separate ledger.
2. Named trainer depth (25%). Coaches named on a page that loaded, or a long named list already recorded in the Atlas file when the individual records could not be re-checked.
3. Training structure (20%). A published daily schedule, pad rounds, or sparring.
4. Beginner access (10%). An explicit first-timer welcome.
5. Accommodation and long-stay practicality (10%). On-site rooms or meals published by the gym.
6. Published price (5%). Figures on the gym site or already recorded in the Atlas file.

Google ratings are repeated only when the Atlas file already recorded them.

Best for is one tag: beginners, fighters, fitness, or long-stay.

1. Honour Muay Thai Gym

Area: Ao Nang

Best for: fighters

The gym site says the camp is the product of 20 years in Muay Thai and that it takes guests from a first class through fight preparation. It names eleven trainers with the site's fight totals: Ajarn Noi 350+, Ajarn Champion 250+, Ajarn Wan 230+, Ajarn Nice 210+, Ajarn Loy 205+, Ajarn Film 126, Ajarn Sam 120, Ajarn Por 112, Ajarn Car 110, Ajarn Bus 110, and Ajarn Ball 80. Several cards list a notable win, including Ajarn Car over Jom Pranchai, described on the page as a Rajadamnern champion. Styles on the page include Muay Femur, Muay Khao, and Muay Sok. Rooms are on site, with food available, and the published training rate is 500 baht for one session a day or 800 baht for two, Monday to Saturday. The Atlas file records a Google rating of 4.9 and on-site accommodation. An August 2025 travel guide calls the gym the serious-training choice in Ao Nang and says it sits next to a boxing stadium. The stadium line is the guide's; the gym page emphasises the Ao Nang setting. The rank is the named staff and the fight figures on one page.

2. Bull Muay Thai

Area: Ao Nang

Best for: beginners

The Atlas file records a Google rating of 4.8 from 401 reviews, on-site accommodation, 500 baht a session, 900 baht a day, weeks of 3200 to 5900 baht, and months of 9900 to 17900 baht, with the site bullmuaythaikrabi.com. The August 2025 Krabi guide calls Bull the most popular gym for tourists, places it in central Ao Nang, and describes beginners through intermediates, a social room, and accommodation packages. No individual coach record was retrieved in this pass. The tag is beginners because that is the guide's description and the review count is the largest stored for this city in the Atlas file. It does not outrank Honour, where the coaches are named with fight totals.

3. Khunsuek Muay Thai

Area: Ao Nang

Best for: beginners

The Atlas file lists a long coach roster, including Kru Snook, Kru Yok, Kru Baw, Kru Fronk, Kru Pet-eak, Kru Boy, Kru Jo, Kru Boon Theung, Kru Lam, Kru Saep, Kru Kit, Kru Rit, Kru Tor, Kru Chain, and Kru Chat, and records sessions at 600 to 1000 baht and a private at 1200 baht. The site is khunsuekmuaythai.com. The August 2025 guide describes a beach setting aimed at beginners. Bout totals for those named coaches were not on a page retrieved in this pass, so the gym is ranked on the size of the named staff and the beginner framing, not on stadium titles. That is a real difference from Honour.

4. Knockout Muay Thai Gym

Area: Ao Nang

Best for: long-stay

The Atlas file names Nick, Vanessa, and Kru Nicola, marks accommodation on site, and records 400 baht a session, 700 baht a day, weeks of 2600 to 4500 baht, and months of 8500 to 12500 baht. The site is knockoutmuaythaikrabi.com. The August 2025 guide lists Knockout among Ao Nang options with hostel-style accommodation and lower monthly figures than the ones in the Atlas file. The Atlas prices are the ones used here. Fight records for the three named people were not retrieved. The tag is long-stay because rooms are marked on site and a month is published, without a documented champion biography.

5. Lanta Muay Thai Complex

Area: Koh Lanta

Best for: beginners

The Atlas file names Kru Yut, Kru Jarn Phromthong, Kru Veerachon, Kru Sakchai Sakdecha, and Kru Thantap St Lek, and records 1800 baht for five sessions, 2200 baht for a week, and 7500 baht for a month. The site is lantamuaythaicomplex.com. Accommodation is not marked in the file, so a stay is not assumed. Records for the five coaches were not retrieved. The gym is in the eight because five coaches are named and a month of training has a published price on Koh Lanta, where several other file entries are a single nickname. The tag is beginners on that access, not on a stadium claim.

Best for: beginners

The Atlas file names trainer Manop and records 400 baht a session, 600 baht a day, and privates at 800 to 1000 baht, with the site emerald-gym.com. A fight record for Manop was not retrieved. The August 2025 area guide discusses Emerald among Ao Nang gyms; this rank does not import traveler opinions about class structure. The gym sits below Honour, Bull, and Khunsuek because the public coaching evidence in hand is one name plus a drop-in price. The tag is beginners on that drop-in.

Best for: beginners

The Atlas file names Nattaphon Phannil and records 700 baht a session, 1000 baht a day, 18900 baht a month, and 1500 baht for a private, with the site songthaimuaythai.com. A bout record and an accommodation flag were not in the file, and neither was added from a page in this pass. The gym is ranked because a coach is named on Phi Phi, which has few entries in the file, and because session and private prices are published. The month figure is not treated as a room rate. The tag is beginners in the sense of a named-coach drop-in, not a claim that the gym runs a stadium team.

8. Koh Pu Muay Thai

Area: Koh Pu

Best for: beginners

The Atlas file names Ann Nirun (Ann Niran Minwang) and records sessions at 600 to 800 baht, with the site kohpucenter.com. No fight record and no accommodation flag were retrieved for this entry. It closes the eight as a named owner-coach on Koh Pu with a published session band. Gyms in the file that offered only an unnamed price, or whose site did not load, stay outside this list.
